Every year Regionteater Väst produces 4–6 theatre performances for children and young people. Most of the time we are on tour, but occasionally we also perform in our own theatre. The theatre in Uddevalla is full of workshops, offices and two stages. This is where we rehearse our theatre performances. During the development of our performances we often meet children from our target audience. This is important so that performances feel relevant. It is also enriching for people working in the theatre to understand what is happening in schools in Västra Götaland, and about the lives of young people.
We have a permanent company of actors, with some on shorter term contracts each year. Everyone keeps our young target audience in focus, working to find and develop new challenging paths for the performing arts.
